Product Description
12V24Ah Battery for Telecom Tower & Broadband Fiber Optic Network

GP12V24Ah battery is a high-reliability valve-regulated sealed lead-acid (VRLA) product, specially developed to provide backup power for Telecom Tower and Broadband Fiber Optic Network facilities. Its miniaturized structure, reliable operating performance and strong environmental adaptability make it an ideal standby power solution, effectively ensuring the uninterrupted operation of unattended telecom tower and fiber optic network transmission equipment.

I. Core Parameters

  • Rated Voltage: 12V
  • Rated Capacity: 24Ah (C20 rate)
  • Dimensions (L×W×H): 175×166×126mm
  • Charging Voltage: Float 13.6–13.8V; Cycle 14.4–14.8V
  • Self-discharge Rate: ≤2%/month (25℃), suitable for long-term standby in unattended sites
  • Operating Temperature: Discharge -20℃~50℃
  • Design Life: 5 years (float charge at 25℃)

II. Key Advantages

  • Miniaturized & Space-efficient: Optimized compact size fits the limited installation space of telecom towers and fiber optic network cabinets, enabling flexible arrangement and quick deployment.
  • Dual-scenario Compatibility: Tailored for telecom towers and broadband fiber optic networks, accurately matching the power requirements of related equipment and guaranteeing stable backup during sudden power failures.
  • Sealed & Maintenance-exempt: Adopts valve-regulated sealed structure with AGM separator, achieving zero leakage and no need for regular maintenance, suitable for long-term outdoor and unattended operation.
  • Steady Discharge Capability: Reinforced grid structure ensures stable high-current output and excellent deep discharge recovery, reliably meeting the emergency power needs of fiber optic network transmission equipment.
  • Strong Environmental Adaptability: Wide operating temperature range and low self-discharge rate, adapting to harsh outdoor weather conditions of telecom towers and fiber optic network nodes, cutting down O&M costs.

III. Typical Applications

  • Backup power for telecom tower base station auxiliary equipment and unattended tower nodes.
  • Standby power for fiber optic signal transmitters, distribution cabinets and outdoor fiber optic network nodes.
  • DC backup power for fiber optic network peripheral devices and small UPS/EPS systems in related projects.

IV. Installation & Maintenance Tips

  • Installation: Mount with terminals facing outward, arrange in single rows in narrow cabinets, reserve sufficient heat dissipation gaps; conduct anti-oxidation treatment on terminals after installation to ensure stable connection.
  • Maintenance: Recommend float charge operation at 25℃ (battery life halves for every 10℃ temperature rise); regularly inspect terminal tightness and battery appearance, handle abnormalities promptly.
